Lawrence E. Goldschmidt

Lawrence E. Goldschmidt is a lifelong resident of New York City. He attended Horace Mann School, Columbia College (BA 1964) and Columbia Law School (LLB 1967). Mr. Goldschmidt has been a practicing lawyer principally in the field of real estate law and a number of its specialties since graduation and has been a partner in a succession of law firms, the last one of which is Goldschmidt & Goldschmidt, New York.

Mr. Goldschmidt has served as president and held various other offices in his co-op board since its formation in 1982. He has also served on the Horace Mann School Board of Trustees and various committees, including its Executive Committee. Mr. Goldschmidt has been a director of Lighthouse Guild since 1978. In addition to currently serving as Vice Chairman and a member of various committees, Mr. Goldschmidt, at one point was also the Chairman of Lighthouse Guild’s Board.
