- Do you feel anxious when you try to cross a street, especially when cars are turning?
- Do you have difficulty determining when you have reached a corner?
- Do you find it difficult to walk on crowded sidewalks?
- Do you have misgivings about taking the bus or subway?
- Do you have difficulty seeing the walk/don’t walk sign at an intersection?
- Do you have difficulty determining how high or low the curb is?
Lighthouse Guild Orientation & Mobility experts will provide tips to help people with vision problems develop better travel skills. Instruction will cover techniques to improve safety, ways to navigate commonly traveled routes such as bus stops and subways, and how to improve eligible clients.
