Dr. Cal speaks with El-Deane Naude from Sony Electronics about the Retissa NeoViewer, a project developed with QD Laser that projects images taken on a camera directly onto the photographer’s retina. This technology allows people who are visually impaired to see their work much more clearly and with greater ease.

    Saturday, December 9, 2023 – Lighthouse Guild and The Metropolitan Museum of Art are offering a FREE virtual art workshop for children (ages 5–12 years) and teens (ages 13–18 years) who are blind or visually impaired. Explore The Met Collection through detailed descriptions, learn innovative drawing techniques, and create your own work of art. All levels of experience welcome!

    Sunday, May 5, 2024 – Lighthouse Guild is teaming up for the 2024 TD Five Boro Bike Tour. The Tour, one of NYC’s iconic athletic events, is an unforgettable day cycling through New York City. The team will ride while helping to make a difference in the lives of people with vision loss!
